A Special Election is any election that is not a regular scheduled election called for by any taxing authority in Cedar County for specific purposes as defined by the Code of Iowa.

 

TIPTON SCHOOL SPECIAL ELECTION

DECEMBER 11, 2018

POLLS OPEN 7:00 A.M. TO 8:OO P.M.

 

November 12-   First day to vote absentee

November 26-   Worry free postmark deadline for new
                        voter registrations

November 30-   Voter pre-registraion deadline
                        Last day to mail an absentee ballot

December 7-     Public test  9:00 A.M.

December 10-   Last day to vote absentee in office
                       Last day to fix affidavits
                       Postmark deadlne for absentee ballots
                       Office open until 5 P.M.

December 11-    ELECTION DAY POLL OPEN 7 A.M.- 8P.M.

December 13-    Special Precinct Board Convenes @ Noon

December 17-    Absentee ballot deadline
                         (Must be postmarked by December 10th or sooner)

December 18-    Canvass @ 10:30 A.M.
